One of a team of 4 Human Resource Relationship Managers responsible for the provision of a full generalist HR advisory, facilitation and operational service to Commercial Banking UK Group personnel. Businesses covered include: Clients: Corporates, Clients: Mid Corporates & Financial Institutions, Equities, Financial Markets, Commercial Banking Products, and the Commercial Banking Support Services functions (Finance, Risk Management, IT & Operations, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Communications and Corporate Audit Services).

Responsible for supporting allocated business units on general HR issues such as compensation, recruitment, relocation, diversity, training and organisational development, either in conjunction with the specialist HR teams or directly. Responsible for management of employee relations issues such as performance, disciplinary, grievances, employee litigation, redundancy and terminations. In addition to implementing people management strategies incumbents are also responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented across the business area, including the annual promotion, performance review and compensation process.

As an interface with the business, the incumbent will ensure the provision and co-ordination of the full range of human resource expertise to a diverse client base that require efficient and timely issue resolution. The client base supported will be primarily UK based, although some of the clients may have Global and European remits. The key priorities of role include tactical intervention (stop issues arising) and value intervention (help managers improve staff performance).
