The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is the largest international wetland conservation charity in the UK. Its mission is to promote, protect and develop wetlands and their wildlife. WWT operates nine visitor centres in the UK aimed at bringing people closer to wetland wildlife.

WWT is looking to recruit a professional and experienced HR generalist to support our staff and managers to ensure we fulfill our objectives. Reporting to the Head of HR, and with two direct reports, the post holder will be responsible for the day to day advice and guidance to staff and managers on the full range of HR issues in the employee life cycle and ensure that the HR support team continues to operate a comprehensive administration, recruitment and payroll service.

The successful candidate will have significant and wide ranging HR advisory experience, will naturally communicate in a coaching and supportive manner, will be able to find pragmatic solutions to people issues, have in-depth employment law knowledge, and will have rolled out internal training and development initiatives. Experience of a seven day operation covering several geographical sites will be an advantage, as will experience of changing HR and payroll systems.

The role is based at Slimbridge; however travel to each centre is required in order to fulfil the needs of the role.
