Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to support the region of London.

You will principally responsible for identifying and developing new business of accounts in the reside above the transactional business conducted by the branch/office network of the business (typically 400k - 5 Million or more then 20 temps) across all the Adecco South.

The primary objective of the Business Development Manager role will be to maximise the volume of business secured. By working closely with Area, Operations and Branch Managers of company in the South region of the UK to identify new business development opportunities, you will leverage existing client relationships and establish new relationships with prospective clients. Given the complexity of the relationships with clients at this level, you will have an understanding of the delivery required to meet service level agreements and expectations, and be able to build and sustain relationships over an extended period of time.

You will take the lead role in driving new business sales and development, working closely with Operations/Area management and Branch Managers whilst ensuring that its delivery is in line with company objectives and strategy. The incumbent will understand trends that will influence our marketplace and target new business allied to these forecasts. With the assistance of the Marketing Research and Insights team, as well as data gathered from Finance, you will also generate your own leads to ensure full revenue potential is realised.

As an ambassador for the wider Group, as well as an advocate for the business, you will be required to refer and promote the range of services and individual specialist brands/businesses we offer, in addition to the vertical and geographical sector for which you are accountable. In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating the knowledge base across the Group by sharing customer data and profiling information. You will therefore need to build strong internal relationships across the Group and demonstrate sound influencing and diplomacy skills.

This role will require you to travel on a frequent basis, therefore you will require a full UK driving licence.

Current or previous Branch Manager experience with a strong Sales and New Business focus. You will require proven and tangible evidence of winning business and developing and nurturing client relationships and will also have a comprehensive range of skills sets derived from a solid base of sales experience combined with evidence of having completed a comprehensive range of sales training.
